We consulted Ladina Schopf - an interior designer, architect and founder of LS Projects - for her tips on how to select the right one. They evaluated the capacity of storage as well as layout, energy efficiency, and other factors.

The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from any place around the world. It also comes with numerous options for customizing. It also sends you notifications when the door is left unlocked as well as when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted, and when the filter needs to be changed.

The ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient, and it produces the shape of a pyramid using only water. This refrigerator is ideal for a small household or kitchenette that needs a built-in appearance and top-of-the highest quality food preservation.

This fridge was rated the best in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. Its freezer temperatures held firm at just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit and never changing more than a fraction of a degree--this is key in preventing freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well, reaching the temperature that was set for the initial setting within an hour and keeping that temperature steady over the course of our testing.

Bosch is known for its high-end appliances and appliances, so it's not a surprise that this counter depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance with the option of connecting to your home Wi-Fi as well as Bosch's Home Connect platform. This app allows you to monitor and control your fridge from your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive, but offers great features and functionality at a reasonable cost.

While the fridge is an incredible appliance but it's important to be aware of the limitations. It has a small shelf space, so you may need to be creative when storing tall objects. Also the shelves aren't completely sprillproof, and can easily be stained or damaged by sharp objects. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge has the standard French-door layout, with gallon-sized door bins on each door, two rows of spill-capture shelves and a set of crisper drawers. The top shelf on the right side can be folded down to make space for tall items. There's also a full-width drawer to store deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great features of this refrigerator is that its ice maker is inside the freezer, making it simple to move ice into the fridge for use when needed. The freezer features thoughtful design elements, as well, such as sliding drawers to help you to organize the place of your items. It also comes with a large bin that can accommodate plenty of frozen food and an additional storage bin for ice.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those who want to combine the look and feel of a French-door refrigerator with a more efficient design. Its capacity is superior to counter-depth models and also cools evenly. It's also a bit less than the best counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which can make it a popular choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for an French door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a great choice. It's a simple fridge that may not be as eye-catching as some of its competitors, but it still has enough features to make a good choice. Its most significant feature, the adjustable temperature drawer helps to keep food items like vegetables and meat fresher for longer. It also has a large water dispenser as well as a good ice maker that operates quickly.

Another great feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits over the two crisper bins. The drawer lets you direct a portion of the fridge's cooling power to this area, so that you can keep food items which french door refrigerator has the best ice maker need extra attention. The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge proof" finish. It does a great job of preventing streaks and fingerprints from appearing, even compared to glossier stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
